HypnoTherapy Terms of Service

HypnoTherapy — hypnotherapycanada.com • Effective date: January 2026

1. Who we are

HypnoTherapy is a hypnotherapy practice operated by Lecia Plamondon, offering virtual sessions across Canada and in-person sessions.

Contact: lecia@hypnotherapycanada.com.

2. Our services

We offer one-to-one hypnotherapy sessions, including standard sessions, past life regression, and habit and addiction support. Sessions are available by video or phone (virtual) and in person at our clinic location. We also offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation — a conversation to ask questions and decide whether working together feels like the right fit. No hypnotherapy takes place during the consultation.

3. Booking

Appointments are booked through our online scheduler. You will see available times before entering any detailed information. Please provide accurate contact details so confirmations, reminders, and session links reach you.

We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice when booking, and appointments can be made up to 60 days in advance.

4. Fees and payment

Current fees and session lengths are shown on the Services page and in the scheduler: $135 for a 60-minute session and $270 for a 2-hour session. The consultation is complimentary. Virtual sessions are paid by Interac e-transfer at the time of your appointment. In-person sessions are billed directly by the clinic. Fees may change; the fee shown when you book is the fee that applies.

5. Cancellation and rescheduling

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, may be charged the full session fee. To reschedule, use the link in your confirmation email or contact us directly.

6. Your responsibilities as a client

Attend virtual sessions from a quiet, private space where you will not be interrupted, using a reliable internet connection. If session recording is provided, listen only when you can relax safely. Do not drive or operate equipment while listening. Share information honestly so sessions can be tailored appropriately. You may decline any suggestion or end a session at any time.

7. Recordings

A recording of your session is usually provided afterwards, unless the session involves desensitization work, in which case no recording is given. Recordings are for your personal use.

8. Confidentiality

Information shared in sessions and intake forms is treated as confidential, as described in our Privacy Policy. Limits to confidentiality — such as a risk of serious harm or a legal requirement to disclose — are explained in your consent forms.

9. Youth clients

Clients under 19 require the consent of a parent or guardian, who will be asked to provide their contact details and complete the youth consent process.

10. Not medical or emergency care

Hypnotherapy complements but does not replace medical, psychological, or psychiatric care. It is not a treatment for any specific medical condition, and no specific outcome is promised or guaranteed. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact your local crisis line or emergency services.

11. Technical issues

If a virtual session is interrupted by technical problems, we will do our best to reconnect or reschedule at no extra charge.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect when you book is the version that applies to your appointment.
